hi i have head lice , i want to ask that i have heard that there are anti lice lotions in the market and they cn kill head lice butim not sure is eggs will be killed too?Does an anti lice shampoo kilss the eggs of lice too??
Yes, most of them do get rid of the eggs as well. Just make sure to follow the directions on the bottle so that you are getting the proper amount of treatments. If your scalp feels itchy after you have done the treatments, go to your dr. to make sure they are gone. If you are a guy, the best thing you can do is to shave your head... if you are a girl, I understand not wanting to loose your hair. Good luck hun, this is an icky situation.Does an anti lice shampoo kilss the eggs of lice too??
best thing to do .. go bald
Lyclear does and fullmarks
just check the box or ask the pharmacy i have headlice a lot cus of the children i work with. nothin to be embarssed about and dont let anyone tel u other wise.
u usually have to do treatments agen after 7 days wen any missed eggs will hatch agen. also go thru hair with the nit comb evry other day with lots of conditioner so eggs come out easily.
most treatments kill eggs to but make sure u check cus they will hatch more, check ur families hair too as they cud have them.
oh and also to the comment above headlice DO NOT AND CANNOT live off the head so scrubbin and cleanin ur whole house realy is a crazy idea....maybe change ur towels but seriosly lice cant fly and they cant jump they just run and they realy are rather daft out of hair, they dont live long, the eggs live a little longer but its virtually impossible for them to attach themselves onto anythin once they are off a hair.
Look for a product called NIX, it should take care of everything for you.
Yes, that is their purpose. Do wash all your towels and bedding in hot water too. And scrub any furniture you had your head near, hairbrushes and combs and any hair items. Sorry, I know it's a real pain.
My girls both got head lice from school a couple of years ago. But I really did not want to put such harsh chemicals so close to their faces and brains for that matter. So I did some research and came up with a system to get rid of the little buggers.
It started out with using a shampoo that has sulfur in it, Selsun Blue is what we used. I then combed out their hair and sprayed it with full strength white vinegar. This makes then eggs and the lice pop. After this I combed olive oil through the hair and wrapped it up in a plastic grocery bag. This is how they slept.
It took about a week to be fully rid of them and we went through this routine everyday of it. From then on they wore their hair up in ponytails and braids for school. They still continue to use the sulfur shampoo. Nothing wrong with a little preventative maintenance.
As far as washing everything, I did take all of their stuffed animals and stored them in garbage bags for two weeks to kill of anything that might transferred to them. Of course wash all of your bed linens.
ummm read the label.......
I am a hairstylist and we would normally use formaldehyde, ( the blue liquid that you see sitting on the stylist counters with combs in there) but make sure that you put it on the hair and scalp, and also run a small tooth comb thru the hair... rinse good with cool water.
good luck,

neutrogena t gel is good but the trick is after washing it the first time part the hair in sections and actualy apply it to the scalp all over the scalp and let the shampoo sit on the scalp for ten minutes then wash it out and condition it and style as usual
get an over the counter version of a prescription, nizoral. it will help w/ the flakes. not sure if you have seb derm on your forehead but you can put the shampoo on your forehead if you do %26amp; it will get rid of that too.
good luck!

Does anti dandruff shampoo dries hair?
No, use head and shoulders it makes you hair very shine. I didn't believe it unitl I tried it. So, give a try for about 3 weeks.Does anti dandruff shampoo dries hair?
It might - I know for a fact that Head%26amp;Shoulders doesn't.Does anti dandruff shampoo dries hair?
not all dandruff shampoo dries hair, most dandruff shampoo that leaves hair dry are those what they called not for everyday use beacuse tere concentration of active ingredient is too high, if your going to use an anti dundruff shampoo every day go with lower concentration of the active ingredient
depends on how cheap it is
no,
it actually moisturises ur scalp and hair. but they will contain much off chemicals which may lead to hair loss.
to avoid hair loss u should apply gingelly oil on ur scalp, massage well and leave it for 1/2 an hour before leaving for bath.
u can use garnier fructis antidandruff shampoo it dos not contain much of chemicals.
Try head and shoulders sensitive care with aloe vera

If you are using the right type for your hair type, no. i love head and sholders, they have it for normal/dry hair. this is a good product for frequent use. however my No 1 anti dandruff shampoo remains that of Neutrogena. it doesn't smell nice at all but it really does its job! What I do is frist wash my hair with my normal shampoo, then second wash using Neutrogena, then after that I still use my normal conditioner. This way I don't end up with dryer hair or smelling funny!
no it can over-moisturize and make your hair greesy

Best Anti Dandruff shampoo?
Have tried head and shoulders, but don't fell it works for more than a day.Best Anti Dandruff shampoo?
I have tried everything, including T-gel, Nizoral, head%26amp;shoulders, pantene, Lush, organic shampoo in the hope that would help, the list is endless really. I find the only thing that works consistently is L'Oreal Elvive anti dandruff. I use that first then a nice smelling normal shampoo over the top. The anti dandruff shampoos that tend to work better always stink of tar or medicine-y.Best Anti Dandruff shampoo?
I totally agree with you! I used head %26amp; shoulders but it wasn't so great. Try Sunsilk anti-dandruff. it smells nice and personally i think it works better.
selson blue (smells kinda manly but it works well, just use a conditioner that smells nicer)
if your on a budget...head and shoulders with pantene.. if not the fekkai sensitive scalp s%26amp;c is awesome.
Pantene
neutrogena tgel
try some of the stuff from the chemist/drug store whatever. probably make ur hair a bit frizzy though.make up

Flakey scalp - will using anti-dandruff shampoo strip/damage my dyed blonde hair?
i want to use an anti-dandruff shampoo but most say not to use on chemically treated hair. What will happen if i do use it? How else can i get rid of dandruff - it is really gross and annoying me!!!Flakey scalp - will using anti-dandruff shampoo strip/damage my dyed blonde hair?
Nope
Use Head and ShouldersFlakey scalp - will using anti-dandruff shampoo strip/damage my dyed blonde hair?
I have died hair and dandruff, and I use Head %26amp; Shoulders every time I wash my hair, which is every other day. You shouldn't have any problem.
You can get anti-dandruff shampoo for colour-treated hair, but you might need to go a salon for a better brand. I personally think it tends to dry hair out a bit--but I only had to use it once....I countered the dryness with using a small amount of leave-in conditioner.
My best advice would be to go with an intense moisturizing shampoo and really massage your scalp well. Try that before the anti-dandruff shampoo.
Flakes are caused because your hair is probably too oily, so it sheds more. Try wahsing it more often and take your time with it, use shampoos that are especially made for color treated hair.
Use it every 3 shampoos. And stop as soon as your flakes subside.
it won't damage it but you need to only use it two or three times a week, still use conditioner. On the other days get a blond shampoo and conditioner. I like John Frieda but there are a lot of them. Freida also come in champagne or carmel blond. Champagne will give you lighter highlights, carmel will darken you up a bit. Its a great trick when your color isn't quite right!
i have dandruff,,,and ive been dying my hair since i was 15 yrs old use head and shoulders made for dyed and permned hair i use it,,,
