Does anti dander shampoo work?

If I shampoo my dog using anti dander shampoo will it help my allergyDoes anti dander shampoo work?
No it wont help. All dogs have dander and as soon as your dog is dry from a bath they start with the damder all over again. Its not worth the price for this shampoo.Does anti dander shampoo work?
Your very welcome :) Report Abuse

your groomer needs to get all the soap out of your dog after its bath.i have been a groomer for17 yrs now and i've seen it a million times.and it leads to lots of unnecessary vet cost.trust me after 2 or 3 good baths washed twice.and a very very good rinse.you should see it start to get better.if he's itching you can give him a benadryl allergy pill in the morning to stop the itching.
Dandruff shampoo diluted with water will help with the flaky skin on the dog but I don't think it will help with dander. Dander is dried saliva on the dog and cats coat from them licking. Dandruff is dried skin. There is shampoos for allergies control. They sell them in pet stores.
It should. Another thing you might consider is a product called Nizoral. You by it for people in the shampoo section. Works very well for curing dander problems and was recommended by my vet.
Dogs have skin and fur. No matter what you bathe it in, there is still going to be dander!
