Only if your not rinsing properlyCan using anti dandruff shampoo all of the time cause dandruff?
No. It depends on which one you use. If you use the new Elvive Anti Dandruff Intense, it will work for sure. I ordered a sample on www.elviveantidandruff.com and they sent me 3 sachets. You need to use it for 3 days in a row to notice the difference. I thought my dandruff would never clear. I was so put down by it. I was depressed. I feel fresh and happy ever since using this shampoo. Can using anti dandruff shampoo all of the time cause dandruff?
Any shampoo can leave a residue after time. That is why they make special shampoos to clean the hair of shampoo build up. A vinegar rinse will work as well.
You can get build up on your scalp if you use a strong shampoo frequently. Try Nizoral shampoo once a week. You can buy it in Boots. It's expensive and is available on prescription.
No, otherwise they won't sell it in the shops.
No, it can't.
However, it's not advisable to do so, as most dandruff shampoos are strong on the hair and scalp and should not be used more than twice or thrice weekly, except if stated otherwise on the product itself.
Yes because you overstimulate the skin cells and this causes more flaking. Put a grapefruit cooling lotion on your head to cool it off, and wash with baby shampoo to rest your scalp. Good luck
i would say yes. i don't trust them shampoo's
Yes. In the same way using anti-perspirant eventually makes you sweat more and constant use of antibiotic has left me riddled with biotics.
I disagree with everyone and think it can - i had dandruff for years and nothing would shift it, as i have very fine hair it needs to be washed daily and i stuck with head and shoulders frequent use which never cleared it - six months ago i heard that dandruff shampoo can irritate the problem with prolonged use and have since changed my brand to a normal frequent use one - i haven't had dandruff since!!
no i dont think so

What anti-allergy shampoos and sprays can I get for dogs?
basically my mum has dog allergies but she just has to live with the dog, shes alright with that but i want to make the allergies less for her.
what can i buy IN THE UK for the dog? What anti-allergy shampoos and sprays can I get for dogs?
You can get a shampoo called: Pine for DogsWhat anti-allergy shampoos and sprays can I get for dogs?
That is just horrible. I would never put my mom thru that. That's like being sick every single day. No way I would put a dog before anyone in my family.
In the US, Virbac has 2 great products: Allergroom Shampoo and Humilac humectant spray. I know they sell internationally, check with her dog's vet to see if they carry it or can obtain it. It's reasonably priced and works very well.
Becky: I'm allergic to dogs, too-I have FOUR of them in my house. Dog allergies aren't going to kill someone (unless maybe they are slobs who never clean their homes)...I have virtually no symptoms, because I vacuum regularly, change sheets regularly, keep the dogs clean, use and air purifier, and change my HVAC filters monthly.
Try something called ';Petal Cleanse'; - I have not tried it but heard good results. Google it.

Basically, you need to talk with the dog's vet and your mother's allergy doctor about this!

What's the best anti-grease shampoo?
Anything with Tea-Tree oil. Paul Mitchell makes a really good tea-tree shampoo. It's good to use every so often to clean out whatever gunk that builds up, but don't use it everyday because you'll start eliminating the natural oil your hair produces. What's the best anti-grease shampoo?
It's not really shampoo but it works. I know some people who have really oily hair use Dawn dishsoap. Good luck! What's the best anti-grease shampoo?
I like Neutrogena
Why is there grease in your hair? Ew.
tressemme shampoos and conditioners are absolutely brilliant. they are affordable too.
Trevor Sorbie
Baby Shampoo!
Rinse it with vinegar. This will de-grease it and leave it shining.
Obviously rinse the vinegar out too or you may smell like a chip shop.
Hey,
I find that Virgin Vie detox shampoo works really well, it's like a once a week thing, rather than everytime you shampoo, but it's quite natural and excellent at stripping out any build up, and that stops it getting greasy quick. I don't know of such a good conditioner though, but I use Dove conditioning masks all they're ace. Hope it helps.
i like a shampoo called 'Happy Hippy' from a shop called Lush. if u don't have a store near u, u can order it online. (lush.com) all of the products are made with natural ingredients, so if a product says it is lemon scented or jasmine scented, it means that it really does contain that ingredient. the 'happy hippy' shampoo contains lemons and grapefuit, and it smells wonderful - not like some shampoos that claim to be lemon scented, but just smell just like washing up liquid ! (yuck!) and it leaves your hair feeling soft %26amp; light, not heavy %26amp; greasy like some moisturisng shampoos do. it really is worth a try - as are most of their other products. give their bath bombs a try too - they are fantastic !!!

'i love juicy' by lush. it's lovely. i also find if i just wash the roots and just condition the ends it helps. the soap when you rinse does the rest %26amp; there's some detergent in conditioner that does a bit of washing. by not conditioning the roots i find they are less greasy x
eta. know what you mean - i can wash every other day with this, i always try to leave it as long as possible between washes because the natural oils are good for your hair. if i need to go a third day i'll put it up and dust with a bit of baby powder (not too much or it goes white!), can't leave it much longer as it 'feels' dirty.
Washing your hair everyday with a shampoo that is not ph balanced to 5.5 (the balance of skin and hair) will strip away your skins hydrolipidic layer (your skins defence against bacteria, etc) your skin then produces more oil to protect itself - hence the ';greasy'; appearance of your roots. Use a range like Redken or MOP which can be used every day, but you will probably find that you wont need to wash your hair that often once it is balanced.

well there not a lot that will help i have the same problem and im a hairdresser, use a shampoo with lemon and or egg in it. when washing your hair try not to rub your scalp to much as this stimulates the glands in your scalp. lee stafford also does a good ';second day spray'; give it a go and good luckmake up

Nizoral...its really anti-fungal that causes most of cases of dandruff.. and you can also try to moisturize your scalp because extreme dryness of the scalp also is one cause for flaking (dandruff), you can apply oil, preferably virgin coconut oil before you go to bed at night.
head and shoulders

I dont know about what u have in Indian markets but i am a hair dresser and i have found the best and safest way to get rid of lice is to put Mayo all over your head work into hair really good and cover with a plastic hair cap. Let it stay on for at least an hour or longer if possible then rinse with warm water and shampoo as normal. Then use a nit comb to remove the eggs. I have used this on children and it is a lot better than those expensive shampoosTell me an anti-head lice shampoo that is not poisonous and is available in indian market?
