I'm am starting to go bald and people have recommended using Nizoral to help with the hair loss. I don't have dandruff, but after using the stuff I notice that I have flakes in my hair. Why does anti-dandruff shampoos cause dandruff?
Those shampoos have chemicals that dry your scalp out, thats why you have flakes. If you have dandruff, use a shampoo with lots of conditioner and don't shampoo too often, unless your hair is oily, twice a week in winter and also in summer unless it gets oily sooner. You can use baby oil and rub it into your scalp then use a hot towel over your hair, leave it on for 20 min. then shampoo and condition your hair. Once a week I use a cup of mayo with 1/4 cup of olive oil, work into hair and put on a shower cap for 30 min. It makes your hair shine and very manageable, along with conditioning your scalp. If you have excessive dryness use it twice a week. Good luck and God Bless, ElleWhy does anti-dandruff shampoos cause dandruff?
Then try this . A herbal rinse is a safe method of removing dandruff. Apply lemon juice with the rind on the scalp .After 5 minutes wash off with shampoo and water. More simple remedies for dandruff at http://usefulinfo-dandruff.blogspot.com/

Has anyone used sunsilk shampoo/conditioner and/or john freida anti-frizz serum?
what do you think of these products? what was the outcome of using them, were you pleased with the results?Has anyone used sunsilk shampoo/conditioner and/or john freida anti-frizz serum?
I have used both. I really like the Sunsilk. I tried three formulas from this brand and enjoyed them both.
I also used the John Frieda anti-frizz serum. I didn't like the results but I do know friends who love, love, love it!Has anyone used sunsilk shampoo/conditioner and/or john freida anti-frizz serum?
SunSilk, yes. They have many different kinds though. I've used every kind except the Volumizing one. They work very well. If you use the SunSilk TLC though, and your hair gets oily easily, it will make it worse, but if you have dry-ish hair, it will work really good. The curling and the Straightening one work well for just being a shampoo and Conditioner.
i've used both.
i've used sunsilk's hydra tlc and it sucked, i think my hair actually felt dryer after using it.
john freida makes really good ant-frizz serum, it's excellent for when you blow dry and straighten. it's not the best serum i've tried(paul mitchell hands down) but it is descent.
I used both. They both work pretty good but you should continuously use them for a better result. You hair actually becomes more silky.

Good anti-frizz cream or shampoo?
Does anyone know of a good anti-frizz cream or shampoo? Im looking for one that I can put in my hair after I wash it and while it is still wet. I wash my hair at night and then sleep on it so its frizzy in the morning. (don't have time to wash it in the morning). Thanks!Good anti-frizz cream or shampoo?

John Frieda products know how to tame hair.
GOOD LUCK!Good anti-frizz cream or shampoo?
Umm, I would recommend Garnier Fructis Sleek 'n Shine shampoo, cream conditioner, and styling products. I have fine hair so I only use the conditioner, and it makes your hair so soft. Also dry it with a hair dryer but use a thermal protectant, such as Paul Mitchell Skinny Serum.make up

Can I use baby shampoo as anti-fog agent for my glasses inside my ski goggle (to avoid fogging up)?
I am going to ski soon, and I have got a normal ski goggle. Unfortuantey, I can't wear contact lenses at the moment.
So I have to wear my glasses inside the ski goggle but my glasses would be fogged up inside the goggle easily.
I heard a rumour that either liquid mild soap or baby shampoo (Johnson %26amp; Johnson) is excellent anti-fog drops/agent for my glasses?
If that is true - please provide me instruction how to do those?
Many thanks for your great helps/advices in advance ! :DCan I use baby shampoo as anti-fog agent for my glasses inside my ski goggle (to avoid fogging up)?
There are anti-fog wipes that are widely available in sports equipment stores and resorts. These are more effective than other home remedies.
By the way do not peel off the small ';dot'; on the front of your goggles or you will horrendous problems with fogging. Can I use baby shampoo as anti-fog agent for my glasses inside my ski goggle (to avoid fogging up)?
Go spend a few bucks on some anti-fog wipes. They'll work far far better than any DIY method you find. They're usually under $10 and will last you a long time.
I wear glasses under my goggles as well, but prefer to use anti-fog wipes on my goggles ONLY.
Wipes convert vision impairing fog to clear condensation, which goes away quickly on goggles, but makes my glasses wet and distorts my vision. My thick gloves and wool clothing aren't well suited for drying wet glasses.
Instead of wiping my goggles and glasses, I wipe the goggles and then just and lift my goggles every 10 minutes to defog the glasses. Works perfectly.
OK THIS MAY SOUND STRANGE BUT

I HATE head and shoulders it really damages my head, itches my scalp and causes more dandruff than anything else i dont understand why so many people love itAny good treatment for dry scalp apart from anti dandruff moisturising shampoos?
if the coal tar and head n' shoulders aren't working for you, you should visit a dermatologist and get an accurate diagnosis. Sometimes it won't matter the shampoo you use if it doesn't contain the right ingredient. I have an overactive scalp and I use a special foam on my scalp, but can use all my favorite shampoos.
Beat an egg in a cup of milk. When it foams, rub it into the scalp.Leave it on for 5 minutes. Rinse the hair thoroughly with water.Carry out this routine twice a week for excellent results for dry damaged hair. Check out http://solutionsfordryhair.blogspot.com/ for more info.
Yes, Head and Shoulders makes an AWSOME Dry Scalp (not dandruff) shampoo. Make sure youread the label.
